Come by our gallery and view 50 stunning, re-imagined covers for classic books by artists and designers from around the world.
Since 2013, Recovering the Classics has invited designers to reimagine covers for public domain books. Anyone can contribute, and hundreds around the world have.
This exhibit is a result of collaboration between Recovering the Classics, the New York Public Library, the White House, and the Digital Public Library of America that was started by Harvard Book Store, Plympton’s DailyLit and the Creative Action Network.
The exhibit will be open for viewing during regular library hours from May 1st – June 2nd.
