AARP Driver Safety
Tue. March 10th | 9:00am - 1:00pm EDTFree
If you’re 50 or older, you’re eligible to attend this special AARP Driver Safety course, taught by Jim Meding. You’ll learn how to adjust your driving for age-related changes in vision, hearing, and reaction time. You’ll also learn some defensive driving techniques and how medications affect your driving. No tests are involved, and you might even get a discount on your car insurance.
The course fee for AARP members is $15 and $20 for non-members. The fee may be paid to the instructor at the beginning of class. The fee covers the cost of the materials used. Outside auditorium doors open at 8:45am.
RTEC transportation will be provided for this program by calling 864-5759 and scheduling a pick up and drop-off time. All arrangements MUST be made 48 hours prior to the time you wish to visit the library to allow for scheduling.
