Battling Parkinson’s Disease with Olympic Boxing

FreeExercise is one way to manage the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, but which type is best? A current trend is Olympic boxing which is a full body workout where non-combat boxing exercises are performed.
Join certified Olympic boxing coach Jerry Loughran, as he discusses the benefits of this style of boxing and the methods he uses with his participants to assist in relieving the effects of Parkinson’s disease.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED
RTEC transportation will be provided for this program by calling 864-5759 and scheduling a pick up and drop-off time. All arrangements MUST be made 48 hours prior to the time you wish to visit the library to allow for scheduling.
