Bite Size Learning – Antibiotic Resistance: Practical Implications for Your Hospital Stay

FreeDr. Shelley Stanko, Chief Medical Officer for Saint Joseph London, will be the guest speaker for this extremely important program concerning antibiotic issues facing the public today.
She’ll address:
- Common types of infections: MRSA, Clostridium difficile, VRE, and MDR-TB
- Sources of infection: Community acquired and hospital acquired
- Screening for these bacteria: Pre-procedure
- Treatments: Oral antibiotics and IV antibiotics
Bite Size Learning is an educational, free lunch series brought to you by Saint Joseph London KentuckyOne Health.
Registration is required and must be received at least two days prior to the actual program to allow the hospital food service time to prepare the box lunches.
