Buffalo Wabs & The Price Hill Hustle: Online Concert
Thu. June 3rd | 7:00pm - 8:00pm EDTFree
Join us for an online concert as we welcome Buffalo Wabs & The Price Hill Hustle to the library stage Thursday, June 3rd at 7pm EST!
It’s hard to sit still listening to these fun-loving and rowdy boys. This band has that toe-tapping, knee-slapping, boot-stomping kind of sound. Part rowdy honkytonk, part old-time pioneers blends together to create a sound that sticks with your soul and leaves you singing barefoot into the starlit sky.
These boys pull from all sorts of genres, anywhere from Lead Belly to John Prine, from Woody Guthrie to Willy Tea Taylor to create something unique and deep-rooted. They lean into the rhythms found in the banks of the muddy waters around the Ohio River Valley and the tradition it carries. To get “hustled” is to partake in the full-bodied musical experience that gets your head-boppin’, hip-swaying, soul-singing with the stranger next to you.
This is a band you don’t want to miss.

“One of the best performances of the night was the last one, by Folk/Americana CEA winners Buffalo Wabs & The Price Hill Hustle. The all-acoustic foursome exploded with as much energy as any of the electric bands, and that energy was infectious. If you’re tiring of the influx of Americana bands over the past couple of years, go see Buffalo Wabs and Co. and have your faith in the music revival restored.” -Mike Breen (CityBeat)
“The Hustle demonstrate both on their CD and in concert that they are a true band. They take a unique position on stage, with each member in a line across the stage front – no one takes a backseat. Vocals, lead and harmony, are shared amongst members as well.” – Andy Foltz, www.cincymusic.com
“They play Folk-Americana music, and they do it in the kind of hellblazing, barnburning, footstomping way that rejuvenates, enriches and enlivens the intent and aspirations of that style of song.” -Dylan Bentley (Vocals On Top)
“All sharing a dream the foursome joined forces to create their own flavor of music, founded in high energy, mixed with deep roots, and topped off with a touch of contemporary, ending with pure party, a band that must be experienced live. This band will get you up, singing, dancing, and mesmerized before you know what hit you.” – Crystal Brown (CincyMusic.com)
