How Did the Earth Get Here? A Scientific Perspective

Dr. Larry Newquist from the University of the Cumberlands will present an exciting evening that addresses how the earth and other planets formed. Additional topics will include: why there are comets and asteroids, where is the most mass in the solar system and why, and are there other solar systems around other stars.
This is an Explore Space program.
Explore Space, a traveling exhibition for libraries, is part of the STAR Library Education Network (STAR_Net) led by the National Center for Interactive Learning at the Space Science Institute. Exhibit partners include the American Library Association, the Lunar and Planetary Institute, and Afterschool Alliance. Explore Space is supported through a grant from the National Science Foundation.
