Our Veterans, Their Stories: Honoring Our Fallen Heroes
Tue. November 5th, 2019 | 5:30pm - 6:30pm ESTFree
Our Veterans, Their Stories: Honoring Our Fallen Heroes is a new chapter in our continuing history project that will give a voice to those who are no longer with us. The goal is to collect and preserve stories of local veterans for current and future generations.
The hope is to share the human impact by focusing on the individuals, rather than the specific battles or wars they were involved in. We want you to see their faces, their stories, and gain knowledge from their experiences.
Refreshments provided by the KY-DBHDID through the SAMHSA PFS 2015 Grant awarded to the Cumberland River Regional Prevention Center.
The display will be available for viewing from Tuesday, November 5th to Friday, November 29th.
RTEC transportation will be provided for this program by calling 864-5759 and scheduling a pick up and drop-off time. All arrangements MUST be made 48 hours prior to the time you wish to visit the library to allow for scheduling.
All events offered by the Laurel County Public Library are free to attend unless otherwise noted in the description above.
The library makes every reasonable effort to provide equal access to all patrons. Please call us at least three days in advance to request accommodations.
