Quilting: A Legacy of Love

FreeBobbie Bryant from the Kentucky Humanities Council’s Speakers Bureau will discuss how the simple act of making something beautiful from scraps gave women a voice when they had little or none. This presentation pays tribute to the great quilters we have in Kentucky.
She’ll also address traditions of the past, the elements and heritage of quilting, and an overview of the Paducah Quilt Museum.This program was funded in part by the Kentucky Humanities Council, Inc. and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
