Rural Gateways – Pushing the Limits Series Session 4
Tue. April 18th, 2017 | 6:00pm - 7:30pm EDTFree
Join us for Pushing the Limits, a series of four book discussion events focusing on themes of nature, connection, survival, and knowledge. This series, led by Dr. Sara Ash of the University of the Cumberlands, will examine the impact that science has on our everyday lives.
Session four will focus on Land of the Painted Caves by Jean Auel. In this book, the author brings the ice-age epic Earth’s Children series to an extraordinary conclusion. Ayla, one of the most beloved heroines in contemporary fiction, continues to explore the world of the people around her with curiosity, insight, and above all courage.
The Rural Gateways project is funded by a National Science Foundation grant from the Califa Group.
All events offered by the Laurel County Public Library are free to attend unless otherwise noted in the description above.
The library makes every reasonable effort to provide equal access to all patrons. Please call us at least three days in advance to request accommodations.
