Rural Gateways – Pushing the Limits Series Session Three

Tue. March 21st, 2017 | 6:00pm - 7:30pm EDT

Free

Join us for Pushing the Limits, a series of book discussion events events focusing on themes of nature, connection, survival, and knowledge. This series, led by Dr. Sara Ash of the University of the Cumberlands, will examine the impact that science has on our everyday lives.

Session three will focus on Arctic Drift by Clive Cussler. In this novel, oceanographer Dirk Pitt traces a lost ship’s mysterious cargo to a scientific discovery that could reverse the dangers of climate change.

The Rural Gateways project is funded by a National Science Foundation grant from the Califa Library Group.

All events offered by the Laurel County Public Library are free to attend unless otherwise noted in the description above.

The library makes every reasonable effort to provide equal access to all patrons. Please call us at least three days in advance to request accommodations.
