Spring Diabetes Self-Management: Session 2

Registered dietitian and licensed diabetes educator, Lynnett Renner, from the Laurel County Health Department will lead a three-part self-management series. The Laurel County Health Department Healthy Living With Diabetes Self-Management Program is recognized by the CDC Diabetes Education Accreditation Program (DEAP) and the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE).
Session two will cover the following topics: monitoring and management, reducing risks, being prepared/traveling, and coping.
Registration includes all 3 classes; attendees will receive a certificate of attendance. Participants who attend all three sessions will be eligible for a drawing to receive a $50 grocery gift card.
RTEC transportation will be provided for this program by calling 864-5759 and scheduling a pick up and drop-off time. All arrangements MUST be made 48 hours prior to the time you wish to visit the library to allow for scheduling.
All events offered by the Laurel County Public Library are free to attend unless otherwise noted in the description above.
