The Community’s Role in Addressing the Opioid Crisis
The Community’s Role in Addressing the Opioid Crisis
Tue. January 22nd, 2019 | 2:00pm - 3:00pm EST
Opioid overdose continues to be a major health problem in the U.S. but community members can make a major contribution toward reducing the toll of opioid analgesics. To find out how, join us during this informative session sponsored by the Regional Health Center of Cumberland River Behavioral Health Inc., the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, and the Laurel County Public Library.
This program is appropriate for all community members, including education, local government, business, faith-based/congregations, family members, etc. Light refreshments will be served.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED
All events offered by the Laurel County Public Library are free to attend unless otherwise noted in the description above.
The library makes every reasonable effort to provide equal access to all patrons. Please call us at least three days in advance to request accommodations.
