True Crime Cases
Tue. December 18th, 2018 | 6:00pm - 7:00pm EST
This month we’ll cover the case known in the media as “The Bathtub Murder.” Sarah Widmer dies by drowning in 2008 in her own bathtub. After three trials, the conviction of her husband Ryan Widmer still stands even though some feel the conviction is wrong.
We’ll break down the evidence in this case to conclude if he’s truly guilty or in prison for a crime he didn’t commit.
Information that you’ll need to begin researching this case can be found on our blog.
All events offered by the Laurel County Public Library are free to attend unless otherwise noted in the description above.
