Introducing: Teen Advisory Board

We’re always looking at new ways to connect and hear the opinions of our patrons. This summer we’re launching a new program that we think will help ensure that we’re offering the best experience that we can to our young adults.

This group will be our Teen Advisory Board, TAB for short. TAB members will meet on a regular, monthly basis (currently via Zoom) to discuss ideas for programs and services centered around making LCPL a teen-friendly space within the community.

Members directly influence what happens with the teen collection, programs, services, and space. Members gain leadership skills, volunteer service hours, and new friendships.

We’re currently accepting applications for the Summer session, which will be from May to August.

Applicants must submit their application by Monday, April 12, 2021 by 8pm to Susan or Krystyna. Submit your application in-person at the Laurel County Public Library.
