Introducing Launchpad Tablets
We’re so excited to offer these fun, interactive tablets for our library kiddos! These exciting tablets are custom curated and pre-loaded with high-quality, ad-free apps on each device. This means that kids can enjoy a focused and engaging learning experience.
Each tablet is loaded with content designed for a specific age range. Right now we’ll be circulating five tablets focused on the age ranges of 3-5 years of age, 5-7 years of age, and 10 and up. Each tablet can be checked out for up to seven days at a time.
After turning the tablet on, you’ll be asked to choose your explorer. Once you’ve picked and designed the character that you identify with, the fun begins. Discovery points are awarded following game play that can be used to add virtual accessories to your explorer.
Parents! You can take a look at the information console and get feedback about the time spent on the tablet. You can see which apps were most used and what types of interests engaged them the most with.
